Statistics of our operations in Spain
Since 2011, CABS has been working actively against bird poaching with limesticks and nets in Spain. At our bird protection camps, which take place every autumn, our teams search for limesticks and nets and try to convict the poachers in full cooperation with the police.
Where a police operation is not possible, we dismantle the active trapping sites ourselves.
Here are the statistics of our actions since the 2011. The numbers of limesticks are rounded up as exact figures are not always possible during police raids. The number of nets seized reflects that we haven't had resource to focus on this form of poaching until 2018.
