CABS Bird Protection Camp Timetable 2026

Together with our partner associations in Italy, Spain, France, Malta, Greece and Cyprus and Lebanon, CABS will conduct numerous campaigns and operations to protect the migratory flyways as best we can in 2026. The activities are almost exclusively financed by donations.

Please note that some of these dates may be subject to short-term change in relation to unforeseen circumstances. In addition, we won't reveal all the locations and exact dates - Italian and Maltese poachers also have internet access and of course browse our pages! We apologise for any inaccuracy in the information.

If you are interested in participating in our bird protection camps, you will need to meet some basic requirements - our selection criteria is outlined here.

Conditions of participation for interested parties:

In principle, all persons of legal age are potentially eligible to participate in the assignments listed above. Team spirit, readiness for action, physical fitness, knowledge of ecology and ornithology and sufficient knowledge of foreign languages (English or Italian) are expected. The Committee Against Bird Slaughter (CABS) will cover the travel costs (petrol/tolls/ferry fees) and the costs for accommodation in simple bungalows or hotels on presentation of appropriate receipts. Participation without prior registration is not possible.

The actions of the Committee Against Bird Slaughter (CABS) are financed with donations collected mainly in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and the UK. The foundations Stiftung Pro Artenvielfalt (Bielefeld), the Karl-Kaus-Stiftung für Tier und Natur (Bremen) and the Landesbund für Vogelschutz LBV (Bavaria) support us in carrying out the bird protection operations.
